golf irons too high
My golf shots are cutting IRONS ONLY?
Hello everyone, I have problems with my iron shots. I am a sophomore years school and has an average of about 53 in our golf games. The trouble is that, literally, piece of 1 with 2 changes of each hole. if I can get these shots shaved and I think I can do much better. My records are 215 (I shoot a fade driver does not, by the way) and putt 1.2 MAX. My irons are really bring my game down. I can hit a straight 75-PW SW easy and my 115 is an easy bit to the right. BUT MY DAMN 8 and 6 IRON CHUNK chunk honey or SLICEEEEE are great. I do not know what is wrong. Yes, I could not afford SW, PW, 8 and 6, I intend to get the others later, but for now this should suffice. A tip?
Sure it has something to do with "on top", also known to lead to a slowdown from the outside in. It also has to do with the decline in a steep angle. It is the combination of swing path and the oscillation of the rigidity that makes the block and O slice. Here are a couple of exercises to help you: (1) to swing more shallow. --- Another way to see this is to widen your swing or not to take the club with both hands / arms. Drill - Start by placing a golf ball close 18 inches behind the golf ball to attack. That's 18 inches to the right of the ball you hit (if u is the right hand). Make sure your weight is centered and then begin (to take home the climb). Brush the grass with the bottom of the clubhead and maintain this until you reach the golf ball 2 on the road. This provide a meal for shallow and soft to reduce the angle of your swing. Long story short, is trying to remove parts (2). Reverse path drilling swing. --- If you are cutting the ball, you should try a mock way to reverse its current swing from the outside in (whole body) upside down ... ... and moving the ball, moving through the ball. For exercise, try taking the club back on the road outside (to Fred Couples and Lee Trevino here and if you do not know these types, find a video on YouTube, one of them) and place in and around your body as it rotates through the ball. It's almost as if you try to block a shot intentionally to right. The only difference is you want to extend through the impact of the ball and not be afraid to release the club by turning your body to the end of your swing. Hence, to summarize, drill # 1 - put a golf ball from 2nd to 18 inches behind the ball you want to achieve. Take your backswing and make sure to brush the grass and hit me the ball out of the way the momentum back. # 2 Do the same as that of hole # 1, but this time moving the ball 2 away from your body about 2 inches. Try hitting the ball again 2nd in his backswing and therefore swing path should start from where you normally do. Redirect the club inside and when one is surprised, no doubt to walk the ball and release the club a bit like the whip through the ball and their goal. Hope this helps!
