golf driver accuracy
i need golf help, i just dont understand whats happening to me?
I am 24 and I have been playing golf for 12 years. i am a 3 handicap(worldwide) and very capable of shooting underpar anywhere any day....until 2007 showed up. i havent broke 80 this year and im hitting it solid but the score is much higher then normal. I never been a great iron player probably hitting only 10 greens a round but with accuracy with the driver and my shortgame and putting(my strength) i've always been able to put a solid low 70's on the scorecard. have i peaked and declining or will my game bounce back....It's been 3 months now and now the mental doubts and frustrations are getting to me. the only thing i can think of is my weight(i did go from 190 pounds to 175 from october 2006 to january 2007)
i'd love to think its mechanical but my video recordings of me dont really show a change.
Well, you sound like a better player then me, but this would be my advice- when you go out, have your partner watch for one particular aspect of your game (irons, driving, putting), and then have someone else go out with you and do the same. You might be able to uncover something by getting a couple different sets of eyes on you.
