At what age to start sports and other activities for your child?
My child is 3 years. She was the mother of the baby and me singing / classes Gymboree art / type. At age 2 years he was in football boy who was far above his head (seemed appropriate for 3-4 years). I put in the various activities, I do not want to pressure him or crush him. Therefore, I am curious. At what age their children start the following activities, if any at all? Music lessons Swim Lesson sports (tennis, golf, soccer, etc.) PeeWee / Little (League football, baseball, etc.) martial arts (karate, kung fu, etc) Anything more? I have a niece who is 5 years in swimming and karate since age 3 and tennis since age 4. Therefore, at 5 years, as well as garden infants, which is in swimming, tennis and karate. I think your niece is involved in a bit much. Most parents my daycare have a golden rule, one activity per season. Children can try things 4 per year and not be overwhelmed and give everything to everyone. My daughter will be starting this swim spring (2 years) and autumn or winter dance (2.5). Until she is a little older, that all she will participate in.
